Twin Falls (KMVT-TV) Students at CSI will learn to read photographs by the end of one creative summer school course.
The photography appreciation class is designed to teach students the history of photography, its genres, and the strong connections to other arts.
The college of Southern Idaho’s photo instructor Ben Lustig says, "It's more extensive than one might think. We're learning about why we photograph and what a photograph is, opposed to just making pretty images which I think a lot of folks out there assume what photography is. It's much, much more than that. It’s a visual language.”
If you're interested in taking the class you can still register at the CSI registrar office by Friday, May 19th at 5 p.m.
