Glenns Ferry, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Fair season is underway in Southern Idaho.

Elmore County is kicking the season into full gear this Wednesday.
Cows, pigs, and sheep, are ready for the Elmore County Fair.

"We are having the junior rodeo which is Thursday the 19th at 6pm. It's for any youth 18 and under that can sign up. We also have all kinds of events even for the little kids” said Rena Kerfoot, Fair Manager Elmore County.

The fair raises awareness and gives a lifetime learning experience for two youth organizations four-h and optimist youth egg.
Many young kids show off their animals.

"Were going to have the Indian fry bread, funnel cakes, snow cones, Asian noodles, curry noodles, all sorts of finger sticks, hamburgers, your typical fair food” said Rena Kerfoot, Fair Manager Elmore County.

The Elmore County fair only comes once a year so why not hang with the animals and enjoy the exhibits?

The fair is taking place Wednesday July 18th though Saturday July 21st.

Fair hours are from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. The Elmore County fairgrounds are right off of interstate 84, exit 121.
