Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The U.S. Army Golden Knights and our local Twin Falls Army recruiters came together to 'Zip The Snake' Friday afternoon.

To become a Golden Knight, applicants must take part in two months of training, record 100 freefall hours and be active duty in the Army.

A few potential recruits came out to meet the Golden Knights and to team-build.

But it wasn't just all about the army...today was about having fun and meeting new people.

The U.S. Army Golden Knights and our local Twin Falls Army recruiters came together to 'Zip the Snake' today.

To become a Golden Knight, applicants must take part in two months of training, record 100 freefall hours and be active duty in the Army.

A few potential recruits came out to meet the Golden Knights and to team-build.

But it wasn't just all about the Army...today was about having fun and meeting new people.

"Downtime for us also means being able to meet up with our local Army recruiters and share some of the team building with their future soldiers so we are happy to be here with them today," says Staff Sergeant Shelby Bixler from the Golden Knights.

Staff Sergeant Robert Dodge is the Twin Falls Army Recruiting Station Commander. Dodge says they’re all out there, "just to have a good time is why we're here. And then tonight we're gonna go out and watch the Golden Knights jump out of their plane and do some pyrotechnics for us."

Don't be alarmed if you see orange lights moving into different shapes in the sky tonight.

It's not a UFO-- it's the Golden Knights performing one of their night drops.
