Investing In Downtown Twin Falls
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Investing in the downtown area.
It’s what the Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency is continuing to do. The URA recently showed investors retail opportunities in the Magic Valley. The Urban Renewal Agency and the City of Twin Falls are working together to revitalize the downtown area and create jobs. "Downtown is the heart of Twin Falls and the heart of all of us we really want to continue to see the revitalization of downtown which the new Glanbia Headquarters and cheese innovation center is helping move that along a lot that's a really big game changer” said Melinda Anderson, Economic Development Director, Twin Falls. There are many retail spaces for lease. "I would say there are at least ten spaces along Main Avenue, but also along the seconds and some in old town as well” said Melinda Anderson, Economic Development Director, Twin Falls. The city is ongoing marketing for new businesses to move in and always have people looking at possible locations. Another project underway is improving the public appearance. "The city and the Renewal Agency are talking about some improvements to sidewalks, landscaping, the light, also parking, and the streets” said Melinda Anderson, Economic Development Director, Twin Falls. Five years from now the city would like to see an amazing downtown that is busy morning, noon, and night. Comments ( |
