Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Another marijuana bust took place in Jerome County this week.
The bust was the result of a several-month long investigation by ISP, the Jerome County Sheriff's office, and the Mini-Cassia drug task force.
Officers said, more than 400 plants were recovered.
They’re still calculating the street value of the plants.
Officials found the marijuana in the Snake River canyon on the southwest edge of the county.
"The only way we were able to access the area was by boat, we used the service of the Jerome County Search and Rescue unit and they were able to boat men and equipment into the area and then there was a half mile hike once we got off the boat, through some very tense thick jungle like conditions” said Doug McFall, Jerome County Sherfiff.
Officers haven't made any arrests in the case yet, but say they're working on leads.
