Memorial Day In The Magic Valley

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Whether you're grilling outdoors or cooking in the kitchen.

You know it's the pre-kickoff season for summer fun.
Memorial Day is celebrated by barbeques throughout the community and events honoring our fallen soldiers.

Cheryl Mildon comes out every Memorial Day to decorate family member’s graves.

Cheryl Mildon said, "We come out and decorate his moms and dads, and Brothers”.

It's also a day of traveling back to reality for most Americans who took advantage of the three day weekend.
Mike McCoy and his wife had an eventful few days.

Mike McCoy from Mountain Home said, “Coming back from West Yellowstone and Jackson Hole and now we are headed home."

For Mitch Potter a base jumper from salt lake city it's all about the nice weather and thrill.

Mitch said, "Little mini-vacation, home away from home, really good commute up here around this time and a lot of people having fun"

If you had a weekend of relaxation in the magic valley, you had one successful holiday.
