One Dead, Two Injured After Late Night Boat Crash
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - A Filer man is dead and two others were hurt following a boat crash late Wednesday night.
Officials said 67–year–old Willis Mullen died at scene of the wreck, which happened around 11:30 pm. Mullen's grandson, 21–year–old Christopher Mullen and 65–year–old Ronald Stutzman were both taken to the hospital and released. All of them were from Filer area. A spokesperson for the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department said they were coming in from fishing when their boat hit a rock wall. They were about a mile and a half from the dock. Campers heard the crash and saw flares from the fishermen's boat. A Sheriff's Deputy said the three men were driving their boat too fast for the dark conditions at night. Comments ( |
