Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV)
Spring is in the air and many senior citizens are eager to get outside working in the yard. It's a great way to get moving in the sun but the Health District would like to precaution seniors while working in their gardens and give them a few extra steps to make sure they stay safe.
The Health District Said, "Make sure they drink enough water and use sunscreen or a hat with a wide brim so it covers them. If they need any extra help lifting heavy things they should actually get some help with that."
The south central public health district will be hosting a fit and fall proof classes throughout Southern Idaho.
