By Andrew Reed

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Police officers weren’t in their uniforms, rather in street clothes. But their guns were out and targets were up. The Twin Falls Police Department is conducting block training.

Police Sergeant Luke Allen said, “Certain things we have to match and meet every year. Firearms, evoke, and rest techniques. We just train on that, we take a week, three days and we just train on refreshers.”

Every certified officer is required to take part in the training to stay proficient. Officers focus on three areas that are used most while out in the field; firearm use, ground fighting techniques, and driving skills. With more than 100 guns shells on the ground. Officers had an eventful day at the shooting range.
