Rachael Giffoni is our weekend anchor and weekday reporter.

Rachael has fostered a passion for broadcast since she was 12 years old. She graduated with honors from Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in 2009.

During her time at WSU, Rachael hosted a show on the student-run TV station Cable 8, anchored and directed Cable 8 news, interned with KLEW-TV in Lewiston, and was known to spend all of her time in the communication building.

Her senior year, Rachael was selected as a top student to participate in an internship with Sony in Las Vegas, and hosted Bob Schieffer for the Murrow Symposium. She earned the award of best videographer/editor of the Murrow College.

Rachael grew up on a farm in Ridgefield, WA, showing beef cattle for 8 years. She enjoys painting, working out, horseback riding, spending time with her family and with her boyfriend John.
