Joe MartinNews Director/AnchorI have been in the broadcasting industry for more than 30 plus years now. I got my start at a small AM/FM radio station in Hastings, Nebraska. From there I moved on to television were I worked for KHAS TV in Hastings as a Reporter/Anchor; eventually I became the stations News Director. After working at KHAS for about 13 years I got the itch to move west. Lewiston, Idaho, and KLEW-TV is where we landed, as I took over the News Directors position. From there it was a transfer to News Director at KEPR-TV in Pasco, Washington. Also while I was in Pasco, I did the stadium announcing for the Tri City Posse baseball team. From KEPR, I went to KAYU-TV in Spokane, Washington. I arrived in Twin Falls as KMVT-TV’s News Director in late December of 1999. My wife Bev and I got married out of high school and have been together ever since. We have five great boys. And now we have six wonderful grandchildren, four girls and two boys. In my spare time I enjoy working on renovating our house, reading, listening to music, computing, getting together with family and following Nebraska football. Comments ( Most Viewed |
