Ryan Larrondo joined the KMVT sports team in February of 2008. Ryan comes to the Magic Valley from Boise, where he worked as a photojournalist and internet reporter for KTVB.
He received his degree in Radio/TV/Digital Media Production from the University of Idaho in May of 2007, along with a minor in Spanish. During college Ryan also enjoyed one semester abroad in San Sebastian, Spain, where he feels his cultural horizons were broadened for the better.
Though born in Fresno, California, Ryan moved to Boise, where his family is from, when he was just 2 weeks old. After graduating from Borah High School, he attended Boise State University for a year before transferring up to the U of I.
Ryan enjoys sports of all kinds, and hopefully you’ll see him on the basketball courts this winter or the softball fields this summer.
Ryan is excited to be starting his on-air career here in the Magic Valley, where sports and recreation are a very high priority.
