Since coming to Southern Idaho in August of 2010, Jason has received multiple awards from both the Idaho Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists for his anchoring and story telling. Amongst those honors Jason has been named the winner of the Idaho Press Club's 'Sportscast of the Year' Award 3 times.

A Washington State University Alumni, Jason came to the Magic Valley from St. George, Utah where he served as the Sports Director at KCSG for nearly 3 years.

Before spending time in Southern Utah, Jason, a Wenatchee, WA native, spent a year at both KXLY, in Spokane, WA, and KIMA, in Yakima, WA, as a Sports Photographer and Weekend Sports Anchor respectively.

His best sports memories include covering the USA Men’s Basketball team as they prepared for the 2008 and 2012 Olympic games, watching his Cougs make their way to the 2003 Rose Bowl, and throwing a no-hitter during an all-star tournament when he was 12 years old.

Jason is excited to be back in the Northwest and enjoys being your Magic Valley Sports Source.
