Jason Carter is the Sports Director.

Before joining KMVT, Jason was the Southern Utah as the Sports Director at KCSG in St. George, UT.

Before KCSG, Jason spent a year at both KXLY, in Spokane, and KIMA, in Yakima, as a Sports Photographer and Weekend Sports Anchor respectively.

His best sports memories include covering the USA Men’s Basketball team as they prepared for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, watching his Cougs make their way to the 2003 Rose Bowl, and throwing a no-hitter during an all-star tournament when he was 12 years old.

Jason is excited to be back in the Northwest and is eager to learn as much as humanly possible about the sports teams in the Magic Valley. Jason is a Northwest boy through and through growing up in Wenatchee, WA and graduating from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University.

When Jason’s not working, he enjoys playing golf and reading.
