This program is designed to teach our youth about the benefits and
fundamentals of disc golf (the fastest growing sport in the nation). We
will cover sportsmanship, fundamentals, rules, scoring and stress
having fun. At the end of the season the juniors will take part in a
professional disc golf association tournament and everyone walks
away a winner. Come join us for an exciting sport that is great for all
ages. Please sign up ahead of time so that we can order the discs for
the players. Parents are welcome to help and learn. Depending on
how many kids sign up we will be practicing on Mondays and
Wednesdays for the older kids and Tuesday and Thursdays for the
younger kids. The first meeting will be at CSI Hole #1 (by the fire
station) on July 3rd at 5pm. Each participant will receive two disc golf
discs to learn with and be able to participate in a PDGA sanctioned
event at the end of the season. Come join us for an exciting sport that
is great for all ages, abilities, and skill levels.
