Registration is open for the 2012 Conference on Housing and Economic Development, Oct. 9-10 at The Riverside Hotel in Boise. The conference brings together housing and economic development experts to share ideas and learn about issues important to Idaho communities.Return to event list.
The registration fee is $160 ($110 for government agencies and nonprofits). The cost includes keynote speakers, workshop sessions, meals, an evening reception, silent auction and entertainment.
Keynote speakers include Tim Cornwell, an expert in multifamily development, urban trends and issues that affect Gen Y. Economist Lowell Catlett will discuss trends in the Idaho and national economies and how technology will drive the way we live and work.
Some of the other experts scheduled to participate include Jeff Sayer, director of the Idaho Department of Commerce; Mike Ferguson, director of the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy; Jennifer Whip, Fannie Mae’s vice president for customer engagement; and Danny Mendez, the director of HUD’s processing and underwriting division.
