BURN: One Year on the Front Lines of the Battle to Save Detroit
This movie will be showing at 7:30pm on April 2, 2013 at Twin Cinema 12. This is due to a collaborative effort on Rock Creek Fire District’s part, along with other fire departments, and hopefully businesses in the area. The Theater use has been donated. The majority of funds from ticket sales will go to the Leary Foundation. This foundation assists Fire Departments around the country, and specifically the Detroit Fire Department, by providing safety equipment for departments that might not otherwise be able to afford much needed equipment due to the economic downturn.
The documentary itself is extremely interesting and eye opening.
