National Library Week is a time to highlight the value of libraries, librarians and library workers.

· Make-a-Craft Week (K-5th)




Monday, April 15

· Special Rhyme Time at 10:30 AM

· Joint Meeting of Library Board of Trustees, Library Foundation Board, and City Council

· Proclamation of National Library Week at 3:30 PM

· Held in the Program Room at the Library



Tuesday, April 16

· Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at 1:00 PM



Wednesday, April 17

· Presentation at 12:00 PM

· Tidbits and Treasures from the Idaho Room: “Rock Creek Station and the Stricker Homesite” by Curtis Johnson, former President of Friends of Stricker and descendent of the Stricker Family. Curtis will discuss one of the oldest sites in the Magic Valley and its importance to the area.

· National Bookmobile Day

· TFPL Bookmobile Ribbon Cutting and Open House from 4:00 – 6:00 PM

· Tour the brand new Bookmobile, check out items, and help us with the ribbon cutting! Light refreshments will be served.

· KidZ Game Night and Bookmobile Craft from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

· Teen Crafternoon at 4:00 PM



Friday, April 19

· Special Storytime at 10:30 AM

· Twin Falls Public Library Foundation Used Book Sale from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
