Ventriloquist Lynn Trefzger will bring her trunk full of zany characters back to the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium for two shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.Return to event list.
Her cast includes: Simon, the witty dummy; Camelot, a lazy camel who has trouble expressing himself; Emily, a Muppet-like girl who loves men, shopping, and more men; and Judd Wapner, a cranky old man whose expressions alone entertain the audience. Trefzger will introduce her newest character, ‘Grunt,’ the Caveman, on this year’s tour. Trefzger also gets a lot of laughs out of using ‘human dummies’ from her audience.
The CSI Program Board, which is sponsoring Trefzger’s show, says the Friday evening show will be tailored to adult audiences and the Saturday afternoon matinee will be a family-oriented show for all ages.
General admission tickets to either show are $10 and available now at the CSI Box Office and the Student Activities office in the Student Union building. The Program Board is offering 200 free tickets available to currently registered CSI students while they last. Students can claim their tickets at the Student Activities Office.
Each adult who buys or receives a ticket to the 2 p.m. Saturday performance can bring two children up to age 12 free of charge. All additional or unaccompanied children and students at the matinee performance will be admitted for $5.
