The Minidoka Ranger District will host a National Public Lands Day Event on September 28, 2013 at Porcupine Springs Campground. National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the single largest public lands volunteer event in the nation with thousands of sites nationwide and hundreds of thousands of volunteers participating each year. This year’s event on the Minidoka Ranger District will include trail work, fence repair, and campground improvements.Return to event list.
Volunteers will gather at Group site C in Porcupine Springs Campground at 8am on September 28th to register and then divide into groups to work on projects. Please come dressed appropriately to work outdoors. The Magic Valley ATV Riders will be providing lunch at 12:30pm for all participants and camping is free for the weekend.
