The College of Southern Idaho Sustainability Council will host an evening of short, information-packed presentations on various forms of renewable energy at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 in the Fine Arts Theater.Return to event list.
Presentations from CSI Water Resources Management Professor Ross Spackman, Wind and Renewable Energy lab assistant Kyle Brown, and CSI student Jonny Mahr will cover biofuels, solar, and wind energy. Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes and include four minutes of questions immediately afterward. After a one-minute transition, the next subject will be presented. Presentations will finish at 7:30, followed by a reception and display in the Fine Arts Atrium where renewable energy students will have literature and can answer questions. An artist’s rendering of CSI’s new Applied Technology and Innovation Center, being built on the north side of the campus, will also be available.
The event is free and open to everyone.
