Event Description

No one wants their child to be a bully.

No one wants their child to be a victim.

This clinic teaches healthy, assertive, respect based, Non-violent solutions.

More than 5.7 million American children (almost 30%) are estimated to be affected by bullying.. Adults may consider bullying to be a part of normal life experience, it may also be one of the precursors for random violence later in life.

We are offering a complete rounded approach to the issue of bully-ing. The goal is for every child to have the tools they need to attend school in emotional and physical safety and with confidence. Children must have the ability to keep themselves out of harms way by learning how to avoid confrontations first and the martial arts and psychological techniques to fend off bullies when those confrontations become chronic or unavoidable..

Anti-bullying instruction also contributes to children’s confidence because they know what to do. It’s the uncertainty that causes a child to struggle within themselves and in turn make a more inviting target.

This training is not only a solution for those children more likely to be targets of bullying, but also for those children who are aggressive. Studies show that bullies are often physically aggressive, easily angered, and impulsive, with a low tolerance for frustration ... this training gives the bully pro social skills to help get what they need without mistreating others.

This seminar will be included as part of the regular schedule. Sessions begin at 5:15 or 6:10 on February 24 + 25.
