Event Description

The Magic Valley Arts Council will host at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place the exhibit “What If Heroes Were Not Welcomed Home.” Organized by the Oregon History Museum, the exhibit features Nisei, or second-generation Japanese Americans, who served in the United States military during World War II. The traveling exhibit is curated by Dr. Linda Tamura, Emeritus Professor of Education at Willamette University and Marsha Takayanagi Matthews. The exhibit is on display through Saturday, June 14, 2014.

The Magic Valley Arts Council hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Magic Valley Arts Council is the official arts agency of the City of Twin Falls as designated in 1994 by the Twin Falls City Council. The Arts Council’s mission is to foster and promote experiences in the arts for all people in the Greater Twin Falls area.
