Grab your helmet, boots and the one you love, on November 21, 2009, The Jerome City Firefighters will be doing an all call for the Annual Firefighters Ball celebrating 100 years of service. The location for this “Three Alarm Event” will be at the Jerome Elks Lodge off of Hwy. 93 at 412 E. 200 South. It may not be the same as firehouse cookin but it promises to be just as good, the evening starts at 7:00 pm with an all-you-can-eat dinner including a choice of meats provided by Smokin Cowboys. Cost of the event is $10 each with entertainment provided by the band “Renegade” from 9:00 to 12:00. Throughout the night, tributes will be displayed and announced celebrating the firefighting profession and those who have served with the Jerome City Fire Department through its 100 years of service. In addition to the tributes to our Firefighters, you will have a chance to be a hero as well by participating and winning throughout the night in one of the most rewarding raffles ever for this event. Also, shuttle service will be provided by Northside Bus Company from the Wal- Mart parking lot to the Elks Lodge and back every hour starting at 6:30 pm and ending at 12:30 am.
