Brian Neudorff is Southern Idaho’s Chief Meteorologist with KMVT News.

Brian has been a member of the KMVT News family since May of 2011, and is now recognized everywhere as Southern Idaho’s Chief Meteorologist. Brian and his family love calling the Magic Valley their home and enjoy all that Southern Idaho has to offer.

Brian graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Meteorology. His first TV job was in Bismarck, North Dakota, at KFYR-TV in 2001. From North Dakota, Brian made his way through the Great Lakes working at WJET-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania, and WROC-TV in Rochester, New York.

Brian is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM), an accreditation awarded by the American Meteorological Society. He also holds his seal of approval from the National Weather Association.

Brian is also known by many in the NASCAR garage as the “NASCAR Weatherman.” He has a large social media following and is the go-to weather source for NASCAR racing teams, fans and some big name NASCAR drivers.

Besides NASCAR, he is a big sports fan. He follows his Purdue Boilermakers in basketball and football as well as the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Yankees. On the artistic side, Brian is a music lover (especially jazz) and plays the trumpet for his church on occasion.

Brian lives in Twin Falls with his wife and three boys. If you see him in the community, feel free to say “hi” and don’t worry about asking him about the weather, he’ll be ready.
