TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - Sixty Hours to Fight Hunger is just about here and South Central Community Action Partnership will be collecting your donations.

Turkeys, canned goods, and monetary donations will be collected at the KMVT parking lot and Con Paulos in Jerome starting Thursday at noon until Saturday at 9 p.m.

You can also drop off donations at Smiths on Addison Avenue in Twin Falls on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"The last few years, we've been able to collect around 2,000 so that's our goal for this year. We distribute them out to various soup kitchens, food pantries, our outer office locations and then we do our distribution to the families," said Misty McEwen, Community Services Director.

Also, if you would like to receive a turkey for Thanksgiving, you can fill out an application at the office located at 550 Washington Street South.
