Buhl to add new clinic and services

BUHL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Buhl residents will soon have a new clinic to better serve their growing population.

Construction will begin in the next few months for a 5,000 square foot facility located on Burley Avenue.

The project will cost around $2.4 million.

But will bring some very necessary services to the community; like walk–in and same day access.

The plan is to add another provider as well, since currently Dr. Bryan Mason is the only physician.

“To add lab services, to add X–Ray, especially when you consider elderly people who have a difficult time traveling to Twin Falls,” said Dr. Bryan Mason, Family Physician. “Then you put weather on top of that, close to home is going to be very important.”

Those who already see Dr. Mason will not be impacted.

If anything, patients may notice an easier time scheduling appointments and additional tools or resources available to them.

The project is slated to be completed in late 2018 and will serve many of the smaller western communities.
