TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The College of Southern Idaho hosted their annual community fair during their week of welcome.

WOW, for short, offers students and community members the chance to interact with local businesses and clubs on campus. The purpose of the vendor fair is to foster a relationship between CSI and the Twin Falls community. The event is sponsored by CSI’s program board in the office of student affairs.

Sophomore Abbey Duff is the Campus Director for Program Board. She was impressed with this year’s turnout of 76 vendors. She came into her position because of attending the fair last year.

“We have so many businesses that were able to come out and set up their canopies and their tents with their stuff. There's a lot of students who have come out, too. We have a big barbecue and it seems like a lot of kids are getting to eat free lunch today,” Duff said.

The goal of today’s fair was to initiate the conversation between students, businesses and the community which was successful based on attendance.
