TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) A local woman is asking area businesses to break out the purple decorations. No, it's not because she's a Prince aficionado.
Cindy Wolf is in charge of team support for Relay for Life here in Twin Falls.
This week through the 16th, she hopes every business in town decorates their doorways in purple, symbolic of the organization.
After decades in Filer, Relay for Life will take place at Canyon Ridge High School next Friday, the 22nd, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
With 200 survivors and teams already fundraising, she's trying to raise as much awareness as possible.
Wolf exclaimed, "we're asking all of the community to get involved, just like my work has, 'paint the town purple'. It's the community joining in, acknowledging Relay is next week."
On Tuesday night, relay teams and volunteers decorated the Perrine Bridge with purple ribbons. Plus, there's still time to join or start a team for next week's event.
