Free and low cost community meals during Christmas weekend

(KMVT/KSVT) — Here is a list of free or low cost community meals offered in the Magic Valley this Christmas weekend.

Friday, Dec. 23
Bliss Community Church is hosting a free lunch on Friday. The lunch is at noon along with a Christmas party. The group will take Dec. 30 off.

The event is open to anyone who is hungry, according to program coordinator Cindy Sims. The church is located at 503 Highway 30 in Bliss, ID 83314.

Saturday, Dec. 24
Mustard Seed in Twin Falls will be handing out brown bag lunches Saturday at 11:30 a.m. by the warehouse entrance at 702 Main Ave W. in Twin Falls. The Mustard Seed usually supplies a hot meal on Saturdays and is taking the Christmas and News Year's weekends off.

The Salvation Army of Twin Falls is hosting a Christmas Eve Services Saturday at 6 p.m. at 348 Fourth Ave. North. A meal will following the service.

Sunday, Dec. 25
A free public dinner will be served from 2-5 p.m. at the West End Senior Center located at 1010 Main St. in Buhl. The dinner is being hosted in honor of the people on the West End who have passes away.
