Funeral home vandalized by bicyclist

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - Serenity Funeral Home on second Second Avenue found an art piece kicked over multiple times on the store front.

The art piece was of a wolf created by Jack Netz last year for the Art and Soul competition.

The surveillance camera shows a person kicking over the wolf on Monday, September 11 about six in the evening.

The owner of the funeral home put the wolf back up, thinking it wouldn't happen again.

After a funeral today, she found the wolf knocked over again. The surveillance camera shows the same person on a bike kicking it over again at 10:30 this morning.

Heidi Heil, owner of Serenity Funeral Home, says, "To have someone just vandalize it for no reason, you know. I would just like to know what their thought process is or why they want to do something like that. Especially repeatedly," she continues, "What joy do you get out of doing that?"

Hiel told us someone saw the video she posted on Facebook and Twin Falls P.D. caught the suspect.

She says he was apprehended and received a ticket for vandalism and a trespassing violation for her property.
