KETCHUM, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Right in time with Ketchum’s commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement, global energy leaders met in Sun Valley for the annual Sun Valley Forum.

Thursday’s event had 60 speakers who addressed climate issues and solutions.

This is the third year the Sun Valley Institute has put on this event.
They say they bring it not only for ideas on environmentalism, but also for ideas to boost the local economy.

“We want to make sure that our area here in Idaho benefits from these advanced technologies, these new businesses, these new innovations from all over the world,” said Aimee Christensen, the executive director for the Institute.

On display was a Lego Ketchum set for solar energy.

It shows off the type of energy Ketchum has been working to adopt.
