JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Jerome Historical Society needs volunteers to help around the museum.

The group needs four to five people to help around both the museum, as well as the Idaho Farm and Ranch Museum. According to a society newsletter, volunteers help keep the museum open during the week.

Tasks include greeting people, giving same background on displays, and answer the telephone.

They also need to be interested in the history of Jerome and Jerome County.

"We do need someone who is interested in learning the history. You don't have to know the history. You can just learn the history by being here,” said Linda Helms, of the Historical Society.

To volunteer, you do have to be 18 or older, and if you are interested, you can call the Jerome County Historical Society Museum at 208-324-5641

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.in the summer.
