Moxie Java Tuscany closing after 10 years

Twin Falls, IDAHO (KMVT/KSVT) — Moxie Java Tuscany in Twin Falls is preparing to close its doors for the last time Thursday.

The locally-owned coffee stop just celebrated its 10 year anniversary last month but ownership said they're going in a new direction. They kept news of the closing mostly underwraps but Monday updated its marquee sign to read, "Thanks for a great run. Last day May 31."

Co-owner Logan Tusow said the hardest part of closing is saying goodbye to his staff.

"Anybody that has a job knows that their work family they get close to every bit as close as their regular family," Tusow said. "You spend more time with them, sadly, so the closing of Moxie Java Tuscany is an emotional thing."

Staff at the shop said it's a bitter sweet moment, between remembering the good times and moving on.

Management said they have a great staff and are writing lots of letters of recommendations to help them find new jobs.
