KETCHUM, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Ketchum city wants to remind you of speed limits on the bike trail.
You are only allowed to go up to 10 miles an hour.
City officials say it is somewhat difficult to enforce, but fellow trail users appreciate cooperation.
Those on the trail say a specific speed limit isn’t too worrisome as long as riders look out for pedestrians.
“As long as they’re aware of the runners and walkers on here I don’t think it’s a problem,” said walker Jenny Okland, “but I definitely wouldn’t see high speeds like a road bike on here. But for leisure riding I don’t think it’s a problem especially with kids.”
If police notice you obviously going over the speed limit, they can stop you.
