TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - Sushi Tokyo in Twin Falls reopened its doors for business this week.
They unexpectedly closed due to a fire in the kitchen last October.
Nine months later, they finished a complete makeover in the restaurant.
The manager told us they had a busy opening day Monday, especially since a lot of their seasoned employees moved on to other opportunities.
"It's kind of a learning process," said Jeanette Russell, manager of Sushi Tokyo. "We've been having to relearn how everything's done, sticking to the way the original Japanese owner had all of his menu and all of his recipes, so we're figuring it out and we're getting there."
Russell says she's been anxious to get back to work and could not be happier to serve their customers again.
