TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — UPDATE: A wanted Twin Falls County man was arrested in Utah for an outstanding warrant.
The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office searched for Aaron T. Segelson after he fled a car crash in late December near Hollister.
The sheriff's office said they were assisting Idaho State Police in this case and have no further details other than his arrest was in Utah.
ISP said they plan to charge Seagelson, but have not released the details as they still wait for lab results.
No other information has been released to the media at this time.
ORIGINAL STORY:The sheriff's office posted an update on their Facebook page around 3 Wednesday morning with an updated photo of the Aaron T. Segelson.
It read, "Law Enforcement followed his tracks into Hollister. We believe he was picked up and given a ride. We would remind and caution everyone in the Hollister area to lock their vehicles and homes and to report any suspicious activity by calling 911 as our Facebook page isn't monitored 24/7."
ORIGINAL POST: The Twin Falls The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on a lookout for Aaron T. Segelson.
He ran from the scene of a crash on U.S. Highway 93, about a mile south of Hollister, just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
According to deputies he is considered armed and dangerous, has violent tendencies and is known to abuse drugs.
The sheriff's office also said he is a gang member.
Segleson is approximately 39 years old, and has a warrant for his arrest.
Idaho State Police and Twin Falls County were on the scene of the crash.
The man is possibly armed with a 9 mm pistol.
