Twin Falls Democrats host 'Pizza and Politics'

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Twin Falls Democratic Party wants it's members to be more involved.

Today they tried to engage them with an event they called pizza and politics.

Democratic representative Sue Chew from Boise came to talk to the group.

She answered questions from the crowd of seventy at Pizza Pie Café.

They say they were concerned of the lack of public meetings this session. So they were happy to talk to one legislator.

"We're interested in energizing our democratic base and so this event has helped us to do both and the information that we get today will guide us in continuing to try to move our legislative agenda forward," said Bob Sojka, the Twin Falls Democratic Party Chair.
