TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) A Twin Falls woman was arrested Friday in connection to a controlled heroin purchase by Idaho State Police.

Tonya Donna Winter, 44, is charged with felony aiding and abetting trafficking in heroin, felony possession of a controlled substance, and introduction of a controlled substance into a jail.

According to court documents, Winter allegedly drove Dakota Dean Turner to a Jan. 6 drug deal in the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot.

ISP brought the two into custody after police say Turner sold an undercover detective 3.3 grams of heroin.

While in custody, Winter was asked if she had any narcotics on her. Winter denied possessing any drugs, but Twin Falls County Sheriff's deputies allegedly found a small baggie of methamphetamine inside her bra while she was being booked into jail.

Winter’s preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 20, 2017. She is currently booked in Twin Falls County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
