(KMVT/KSVT) — University of Idaho leaders and officials from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences are looking to plan a facility for dairy research in the Magic Valley.
In January, UI officials traveled to Twin Falls and Nampa to explain their project. The project plans for a 2,000-cow agricultural research center. A location has not been chosen yet. The $45 million project received $10 million from the Idaho Legislature for the funding. Currently they are looking to fund for the rest of the project.
