UPDATE: Buhl Girls Basketball advances to state for the first time since 2003

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) All of the SCIC district girls basketball games have been decided by five points or less. Basically you're getting your money's worth when you attend these games.

Buhl the second seed taking on the fourth seed Filer at CSI Wednesday night for the championship.

The Lady Wildcats strike first as Colbie Kliegl launches from long range, Filer up 3-0.

Buhl gets a pair of free throws, back to Filer, as Jailyn Gartner goes hard off the glass, count the bucket, it's a 7-2 game.

Halfway through the first quarter, we're still in a tight one, Madison Somers finds Kyra Azevedo who knocks down the long range jumper.

Indians only down three.

Another close SCIC district game as Buhl wins the championship, 47-45.

STATE PLAY-IN GAME:

Filer will play South Fremont at American Falls on Saturday at 1 pm. The Wildcats will be the home team as they are on top of the bracket. Filer only won one conference game during the regular season, but went 2-2 in district action for an overall record of 7-18. The Cougars are 14-11 overall.
