Buhl Girls Soccer uses a big second half to beat Wendell; soccer roundup

BUHL, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Buhl beats Wendell in girls soccer by the score of 4-1. Madison Sommers led the way with two goals for the Indians. Kyra Azevedo and Taylor Hineman also scored. Jenny Diaz had one goal for the Trojans.

The Cutthroat JV hosts the Bliss Bears Wednesday at 6:15. The Varsity is back in action on Thursday, hosting the Declo Hornets who hold second place in the league standings.

Bliss 6, Declo 2: Sophomore Alex Cruz scored his first varsity goal and senior Armando Cordoba scored the rest! Assists came from senior Yuvani Viscarra and junior Steven Rubio.Keeper and (sophomore) Kaleb Gabriel made 6 saves and defender (junior) Saul Valencia made a big save in front of goal as well.

The boys' league record is now 5-0-0.
