Burley Boys Basketball coach leaving for Walla Walla gig

BURLEY, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) When it comes to the game of life, it's all about choices and for one local coach, the possibilities are endless.

The future seemed set for Travis Noble. After all, he accepted the Burley head boys basketball coaching position in May.

But when the opportunity to coach at his Alma mater arose, he couldn't pass it up.

Noble will leave for Washington State near the end of the month to assist with the Walla Walla Community College Men's Basketball team.

Noble led the Oakley Hornets to a 19–5 record this season, falling just short of a state tournament berth.

During the 2014–15 and 2015–16 school years, Oakley won back to back district titles and took third at the 1A D-I state championships in 2016.

Burley meanwhile will search for his replacement.
