CSI Women Basketball team hopes to jump Salt Lake in the standings

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The CSI Women's Basketball team spent a few days in the national poll until they lost to Snow College again.

For some reason, they can't beat the Badgers, but CSI did beat Salt Lake a couple of weeks ago who was then seventh in the country.

Now the ninth-ranked Bruins come to town seeking revenge. They haven't lost since that CSI game.

Salt Lake has a couple of injuries, including starter Nani Tonga. However, most of the key talent will be ready to take on Twin Falls' best.

Assistant coach Joshua Edwards explained, "the last game we brought a lot of energy, the girls were focused. They knew it was our first match-up with Salt Lake and they were ready. It's our conference rival, usually we don't have to ask them to bring their energy for that game, they usually bring it themselves. The focus was there, they knew the scout and got the job done."

Ka'maree Donald, a freshman guard said, "I brought speed and energy and I hope to bring that back next time. I hope to get to the basket when I can, create when I can, bring a lot of energy and fast pace."

CSI and Salt Lake tip off at 5:30 with the men to follow.
