CSI Women's Basketball prepares for weekend tournament

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) CSI Women's Basketball is off to a 7-1 start and back at home for the second weekend in a row.

A pair of guards who've been stepping up their game as of late, Jamie Nielson and Meghan Hughes.

Nielson posted team-highs of 18 points and 15 points respectively in the wins over Tohono O'odham and Arizona Western.

Hughes was right behind Nielson in Friday's blowout, she scored 15 points.

The pair rank third and fourth on the team in scoring.

Coach Randy Rogers likes the improvement he's seen in the sophomore guards. The women tip off both nights at 5:30, with the men to follow.

They face Lethbridge on Friday and Chemeketa Saturday.

On Saturday, any military personnel and their families will get into the games free of charge.
