CSI Women's Basketball wins fifth straight

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team has scored more than 100 points on three occasions so far, including Friday night.

Katie Hughes finds sister Meghan who connects with Jamie Nielson and the sophomore drains the three from the corner to give the Golden Eagles the first points of the game.

The ladies of black and yellow taking an 11-5 lead in the first quarter. Halfway thorough the first, Golden Eagles lead is double digits, Tori Swanson trying to get her team back in it with the drive, it's now a 14 point lead.

The difference maker, Gabriella Bruno, she had 11 points in the first quarter alone as CSI shot 56% from three-point range.

CSI breaks 100 again with the final of 102-48.

Nielson and Mallory LaPoole posted team-highs of 16 points. The Golden Eagles, now 9-1 overall, host Treasure Valley on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
