CSI Women's Hoops breaks century mark in lopsided win

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team is seeking its fourth straight win.

The ladies hosted Lethbridge College out of Canada Friday evening.

CSI already up 85-52 early in the fourth quarter, Ka'Maree Donald drives into the key, finds Filer grad Katie Hughes for the jumper, eight points on the night for her.

This time Donald decides to take the long range shot herself, misses but there for the offensive rebound and putback is Jamie Nielson, she came off the bench to score 23 points on 10-12 shooting.

Kodiaks trying to stay in the game, credit Jinan Daqqa with this three, but not enough.

CSI hits the Century mark again, dominating 106-62, improving to 8-1 on the season.

Mallory Lapoole posted 23 points, while Tiena Afu was a force under the rim with 15 rebounds, to go along with 16 points.

CSI plays Chemeketa CC Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Earlier Friday, Chemeketa lost to Salt Lake 114-58.
