Canyon Ridge hands Kimberly first loss; local roundup

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Kimberly played Canyon Ridge in Twin Falls, the Bulldogs off to a 2-0 start.

The Riverhawks barely lost to Ridgevue last Saturday. It started off as a competitive first quarter, Riverhawks ball, Logan Ahlquist connects with Derek Clark who goes inside to Izak Cuellar and he finds Avery Rambur on the sneak.

On the fast break now for Kimberly,Trey Garey does a fake and gets a nice jumper to go, tie game.

Then the Bulldogs on the fast break take the lead with the bucket by Noah Mooney.

Riverhawks hope to tie as Cuellar uses his size, gets the basket and one, but while close early, Canyon Ridge pulls away winning 62-37.

Hudson Pierce led the Riverhawks with 20 points.
