Christensen, Hardy power No. 3 Valley past Oakley; boys hoops roundup

HAZELTON, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) It was a battle for first place Friday night in the Snake River Conference.

Valley is undefeated in conference play, while Oakley boasts one loss, the pair finding out who's on top in the first half of the season.

Oakley's Juan Rodriguez is in his first year as head coach.

The Hornets got off to a quick 4-0 start in the game, that included this three pointer by Jayden Palmer. He led the team with 13 points.

Ben Christensen puts the Vikings on the board as he drives the baseline.

Next possession, Hornets' Gannon Critchfield pulls down the rebound, he passes to Chandler Jones who finds Max Alves in transition.
