Filer High School makes four head coaching positions official

FILER, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Filer High School has been busy this summer filling four head coaching positions.

Starting with girls soccer, Alain Serratos will take the lead of the program.

Last year Serratos assisted Shane Hild with the team. Hild decided it was time to step away after coaching for more than a decade.

Moving along to winter sports, Rob Anderson, who you might remember from football will coach the boys basketball team. He brings 17 seasons of coaching boys hoops and eight years of girls hoops.

Moving along to girls basketball, it's Mike Amaya, who last coached the junior varsity boys basketball team at Canyon Ridge High School. Prior to that, he coached the boys and girls at O'Leary Middle School and was the head boys basketball coach at Murtaugh.

Then find a familiar face coaching the baseball team. Shane Grayson takes the reigns of the team after being the assistant for the past two years and one as the head JV coach. Derek Eccles left to be with family.
