TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) As summer draws to a close, a former College of Southern Idaho basketball player picks his next school of choice.
And it's back to the D-I level for Austin Starr. He's headed to Prairie View A and M University in Texas.
The Panthers participate in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
After high school, Starr played at UNLV and then transferred to the Twin Falls junior college for his sophomore campaign.
Due to an injury outside suffered away from school, he missed 2.5 months of school. But made it back in time for playoffs.
Starr is appreciative of his time at CSI and now former coaches.
He'll actually play his alma mater UNLV on November 15th.
